Privacy Policy

1. Information processed on your device

The following information may be stored locally on your device to provide the App's features:

• onboarding answers and preferences you choose;
• your selected blocked apps and their Android package names;
• prayer schedules, repeat days, and enabled status;
• prayer progress and locally recorded prayer history;
• the current onboarding step and app settings; and
• temporary state needed to show and complete a prayer lock.

This locally processed information is used to operate the App and is not transmitted to our own servers. You can remove it by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App. An active Google Play purchase may remain associated with your Google Play account after uninstall.

2. Accessibility Service

The App uses Android's Accessibility Service to identify the package name of the app currently in the foreground. It compares that package name against the block list you created and, when appropriate, shows the prayer-lock experience before you continue.

The Accessibility Service is not used to:

• read messages, passwords, browser content, or text you enter;
• record or capture your screen;
• make decisions or perform actions without your instruction;
• change system settings without your permission; or
• sell information or build advertising profiles.

Foreground package-name checks occur on the device. You can disable the service at any time in Android Accessibility settings, although app blocking will no longer function while it is disabled.

3. Other Android permissions

Display over other apps

Overlay permission lets the App present the prayer-lock experience above a selected app. It is not used to read the content underneath the overlay.

Alarms and reminders

Exact-alarm access is used to trigger prayer schedules at the times you select. It is not used for unrelated wake-ups or advertising.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App may show prayer reminders and service-related alerts. You can disable notifications in Android settings.

4. Purchases and RevenueCat

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play. Google processes your payment method and transaction. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.

The App uses RevenueCat to check subscription status, provide premium access, and support purchase restoration. RevenueCat may process an app-specific customer identifier, product and entitlement information, purchase status, transaction information supplied by Google Play, and limited device or app information needed to provide its service. RevenueCat processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase records according to their legal obligations and their own retention policies.

5. Information we do not sell

We do not sell personal information. We do not use foreground app package names, prayer preferences, or devotional activity for targeted advertising. We do not share locally stored prayer and blocking preferences with data brokers.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on these providers for limited operational purposes:

• Google Play for app distribution, subscriptions, and billing;
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management; and
• Expo services used to build and deliver the application.

These providers have their own privacy practices. Information they receive is governed by their policies and the settings of your Google account and Android device.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you remove it, clear App storage, or uninstall the App. The App does not currently require you to create a developer-operated account, so there is no separate App Lock account profile to delete.

Subscription records are managed by Google Play and RevenueCat. You may manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. For a privacy or deletion inquiry, contact mrwonderfuldev@gmail.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed by the App. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and Android device security also depends on your device, account, operating-system updates, and access controls.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our own servers. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us may contact us so we can review the request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
