App Lock: Christian Prayers
Terms of Service
Effective date: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of App Lock: Christian Prayers (the “App”), published by mrwonderfuldev, package name com.christianprayers.applock. By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Purpose of the App
The App is a devotional focus tool for Android. It lets you select apps, schedule prayer times, and present a prayer experience before you continue into selected apps. It uses Android permissions that you may enable or disable through system settings.
2. Eligibility and responsible use
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian is responsible for reviewing and supervising your use of the App.
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes;
- interfere with the App, its billing, or its security;
- reverse engineer or redistribute the App except where law allows;
- use permissions granted to the App for an unintended purpose; or
- misrepresent your entitlement to paid features.
3. Android permissions
Core blocking features depend on Accessibility Service, display over other apps, alarms and reminders, and notification permissions. You control these permissions in Android settings. If a permission is disabled, related features may stop working or become less reliable.
Android, device manufacturers, battery-saving settings, and other apps can delay or interrupt background behavior. The App cannot guarantee that every block, alarm, notification, or overlay will appear at an exact time on every device.
4. Subscriptions, trial, and billing
Premium access is offered through an automatically renewing Google Play subscription. The price, billing period, trial availability, renewal date, and applicable taxes are shown by Google Play before purchase. A trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends under Google Play's rules.
Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat is used to verify and restore premium entitlement. You are responsible for managing your subscription through the Google Play account used to purchase it.
You can cancel through Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while allowing access through the already paid period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
5. Refunds
Refunds and payment disputes are handled under Google Play's refund policies and applicable law. We do not directly process payment-card refunds. Contact Google Play or use its available refund process for an eligible purchase.
6. No account requirement
The App does not currently require a developer-operated user account. Preferences, blocked-app selections, and prayer schedules are stored locally. Restore Purchases relies on the Google Play account used for the original transaction and does not restore local permissions, schedules, or blocked-app selections after reinstall.
7. Devotional-content disclaimer
Prayer prompts and spiritual content are provided for general devotional and inspirational purposes. They are not professional theological, medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by a particular church unless expressly stated.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, device compatibility, product improvement, or service availability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may otherwise apply, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App, including missed reminders, interrupted blocking, lost local settings, or third-party service failures. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information and Android permissions are handled and forms part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the App or applicable requirements change. The effective date will be updated when revised Terms are published. Your continued use after an update indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
